HR ASSISTANT
MCRE is a pioneering rare earth project located in Gerik, Perak. Our mission is to consolidate our position as a major REE mineral producer in Malaysia through the implementation of various industry-best ethical practices that optimize mining efficiency while minimizing the environmental impact of our activities.
About The Role
As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by assisting with a wide range of HR-related functions. You will work closely with HR team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibilities will include handling administrative tasks, supporting the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll, including salary computation, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
- Assist in applying for and renewing work permits, expatriate passes, and other necessary documentation.
- Maintain records of expatriates’ permit status and renewal deadlines.
- Assist in job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist in preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
- Assist in handling employee inquiries related to HR matters.
- Maintain and update HR documentation and policies.
- Support HR events, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
Job Requirement
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar HR role.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
