MCRE is a pioneering rare earth project located in Gerik, Perak. Our mission is to consolidate our position as a major REE mineral producer in Malaysia through the implementation of various industry-best ethical practices that optimize mining efficiency while minimizing the environmental impact of our activities.

About The Role
As a mining production executive in the context of the described job, your role is pivotal in overseeing and managing operations at the MCRE project in Gerik, Perak

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and management of the mining site and processing plant to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Evaluate and enhance the ore grades to meet marketable standards.
• Lead the team in developing effective solutions through upgraded technologies.
• Ensure high standards in machinery maintenance and workshop operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and breakeven analysis for operational planning.
• Work closely with site engineers to meet company and investor objectives.
• Oversee trials, commissioning, and on-site training activities.
• Report progress to top management and contribute to long-term company planning.
• Maintain adequate stocks of machinery parts and lab equipment for emergency preparedness.

Job Requirement

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mineral Resources Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Able to communicate (read and write) in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in rare earth mining operations.
